My name is Gary.

By day I'm a mild mannered software developer. By night I put on my wizard robe and hat and shift bits and push pixels as I try to create worlds out of zeros and ones. It's part science, part magic.

I make little games under the name Paper Llama.

I was born in California, grew up in Arizona, spent a few years in Ohio, and now live back in Arizona with my beautiful wife, two daughters, and three cats (Trogdor, Marzipan, and Homestar Runner).

When I'm not programming or playing games I can be found reading or writing, growing a beard or mustache, or hoping for rain.
